Sessions and funding

We offer morning (7:30am-12:50pm), afternoon (1:10-6pm) and full day (7:30am-6pm) sessions.

The nursery is offering the funded model of 22.8 hours over 50 weeks.

The funded only session will be:

2 pre-booked sessions per week over 50 weeks (8.00am – 6.00pm).
+ 14 extra pre-booked sessions within the 50-week period (8.00am – 6.00pm).

The blended models we’re offering are:

for children attending Monday/Tuesday at the council setting – up to 5 hours per week over 50 weeks.
for children attending Wednesday/Thursday at the council setting – up to 4 hours per week over 50 weeks.
for children attending 48 weeks (3 Day Model) – your child will attend two days at the. council nursery, and up to 7 hours per week over 50 weeks.
for children attending 48 weeks (4 Day Model) – your child will attend three days, and up to 5 hours per week over 50 weeks, or up to 25 x 10 hour sessions (250 hours) at the funded provider.

Fees Include

Quality Childcare, spacious playrooms with age-appropriate resources, outdoor play areas with access to natural spaces, breakfast, morning & afternoon snacks, activities & extra curricular classes, parent communications including newsletters & parent's evenings.

How to book a place

To secure your place please get in touch. We will offer you a viewing if you have not already been to our nursery and send you the correct documents to complete to register a place with us. If you have any other questions regarding a place at our nursery please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Lovely nursery. Both our kids have been very happy here, and youngest still goes 2 days per week. They take the kids on lots of outdoor trips around the town (park, beach, harbour, library) and there's a nicely done little garden to play in. Staff are caring and because the nursery is small they all get to know the kids really well. Highly recommended.

Amazing setup and support from all involved in the nursery. I have had two children in the nursery since 2020 and they have flourished in the care of all of the staff at Pumpkin Patch. They really care about their children and throughout external pressures, they have remained totally focused on

what’s best for the children.

Fabulous nursery: caring, compassionate and nurturing. We have 2 children who attend, the first started in 2021. The Pumpkin Patch has been wonderful at encouraging them and fostering an interest in the world around them. Excellent facilities within the nursery and small outdoor space is more than compensated for by the daily trips. All children (babies to preschool) are encouraged to attend daily outdoor adventures from the beach, to the fire station, to the library!

The staff are interested in the child's development and know each child and their needs extremely well. As a parent of one cautious introvert and one exuberant extrovert, it's been a joy to see the team support each child with their own learning needs. Varied activities which are predominantly nature-based have been fab (I even learned a little something about the life cycle of frogs).

Finally, the management is wonderful, clear communication, knows the families extremely well and obviously loves early years development!
